New analysis for country teams: Perspectives of 52 Governments/relevant authorities on collaboration with and among development partners
To help agencies improve collaboration and alignment at country-level, the SDG3 Global Action Plan (GAP) monitoring framework includes a short questionnaire to allow Member States to express their views on how well multilateral agencies and other development partners align to their national plans and collaborate with each other to increase synergies and avoid duplications. Governments also make concrete suggestions for improvements at country-level. This data, which is collected annually, allows agencies to reflect on the suggestions made and improve the support they are giving to Member States. The latest report shows that we all need to do a better job in supporting countries achieve the priorities they set. Please read here the full analysis.
The SDG3 GAP is a set of commitments by 13 multilateral agencies to improve SDG-focused collaboration and joint action among multilateral agencies in support of national priorities in order to accelerate progress towards health-related SDGs. Find here useful background information and awareness raising materials to support the country-level implementation of the SDG3 GAP.
